Design Philosophy
We're a team of passionate thinkers and doers, dedicated to building with purpose and clarity. Collaboration and curiosity drive everything we do.
A Legacy of Print and Design
Rooted in India’s rich textile heritage, Ocean Home’s design language is deeply influenced by a vast and carefully preserved library of traditional block prints, collected and developed since the 1970s. This archive—built over decades of collaboration with master artisans—forms the foundation of our creative identity and continues to inspire every new collection.
Our designs resonate with a wide and discerning audience because they balance timeless craft with evolving market sensibilities. Drawing from generations-old motifs, hand-carved blocks, and traditional printing techniques, we reinterpret heritage patterns to suit modern lifestyles and global interiors.
A dedicated in-house team of designers works closely across disciplines including design development, color exploration, product innovation, visual merchandising, and cataloguing. This collaborative approach ensures that each design retains its artisanal soul while achieving contemporary relevance.
At Ocean Exim, we believe true innovation lies in thoughtful evolution. Guided by craft, informed by experience, and driven by creativity, our designers lead with intent—creating printed textiles that offer not just visual appeal, but a meaningful and memorable buying experience.
Our Studio
Ocean Exim realised that a great team without sufficient resource would not yield desired results and so to equip the team, a huge design studio was laid having its own wing sampling unit with 8 tailors. The studio is the processing hub and it is the busiest place of the unit. The place has a refreshing environment due to variant colors, trends, patterns exchanging hands for finishing. Agglomeration of designers and sampling unit makes our design a best fit into the market and this is our USP.
Crafted in Rajasthan
Our products embody the royal Rajasthani textile tradition, crafted by skilled artisans from Jaipur and nearby villages. Each piece is hand-dyed, block or screen printed, and finished using techniques passed down through generations.
While modern processes support efficiency, hand block printing and hand stitching remain central to our work, adding character and fine detail that only human craftsmanship can achieve. The fusion of inherited skill, local artistry, and thoughtful design allows us to create textiles that feel authentic, expressive, and alive.
We take pride in offering select collections that are entirely handmade, celebrating India’s rich craft heritage while meeting the expectations of the international market.
